The Entries journal
Find any entry by period, kind, account, category or search — and see the total of what you’re looking at.
Entries is the list of everything recorded in the household, newest first.
Filters
- Period — This month, 3 months, Year or All.
- Kind — Expenses (the default), Income, Transfers, Exchanges or All.
- Account and Category — narrow to one account or category.
- Search — matches comments, amounts, account and category names across your whole history, not only the entries on screen.
Total in view
Under the filters, Total in view adds up everything that matches, in your base currency. Voided entries and categories kept out of reports are not counted.
The journal shows the latest 500 matching entries; the total always covers all of them. Narrow the period to see older ones.
Arriving from a report
Clicking a figure on the overview or in a report opens the journal filtered to exactly the entries behind it. A From a report label shows the applied period and categories; Clear removes it.
Actions on an entry
Each entry has Edit, Repeat and Void. See Editing and undo.
