Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the website asienta.app and the app at app.asienta.app (the “service”). By creating an account you agree to them. Asienta is an independent project.

1. Early access

  • Asienta is in early access. It is free during this period.
  • New accounts are admitted by hand, and we may decline or delay admission.
  • Features may change, be added or be removed.
  • If we introduce paid plans, we will announce them in advance. You will never be charged without explicitly choosing a paid plan.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
  • A household owner decides who joins the household and with which role. Invite only people you trust: members and viewers see all of the household’s figures.
  • A household must always have at least one owner.

3. Your data

  • The records you enter or import remain yours.
  • You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you and your household. We don’t use them for anything else and don’t sell them.
  • How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Not financial advice

Asienta is a record-keeping tool. Balances, reports and conversions depend on what you enter and on reference exchange rates, which can differ from the rates you actually get. Nothing in the service is financial, tax or legal advice. Check important figures and consult a professional before making decisions based on them.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t:

  • use the service for anything unlawful;
  • try to access other people’s accounts or data, or bypass security;
  • probe, overload or disrupt the service, or access it by automated means other than those we provide;
  • resell or sublicense the service.

6. Availability and your copies

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but we can’t promise uninterrupted operation, especially during early access. Keep your own copies of what matters — every report downloads as CSV.

7. Ending use

  • You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account and data, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where possible we will tell you first and give you a chance to take your data.
  • If we ever shut the service down, we will announce it in advance so you can export your data.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on figures in the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; we will tell you in the app about material changes before they take effect. If you don’t agree with a change, you can stop using the service and ask us to delete your data.
