# Reports

> For a period, category trends and categories × months — with options you can bookmark and CSV export.

**Reports** shows where the money came from and went. Amounts are in your base currency at the rate of each entry’s date. Voided entries and categories kept out of reports are never counted.

## Options

One panel above the report sets the **period**, whether to **show** expenses or income, the **account** and the **categories**. The options live in the page address, so you can bookmark a report or send the link to someone in your household.

Every amount in a report opens the entries behind it.

## For a period

The default report. Pick this month, last month, the last 3, 6 or 12 full months, or a custom range.

- Four tiles: **In**, **Out**, **Saved** and **Savings rate**. For periods longer than a month, the monthly average is shown next to each sum.
- **Composition** of expenses and income: a 100 % stacked bar and a list with shares and subcategories.
- **By month** — the same figures month by month.

## Category trends

Compares a period — last month, or the last 3, 6 or 12 full months — with the average of the six months before it, per month on average. A chart shows income and expenses by month; the table lists categories with small month-by-month lines, the average before and the difference.

## Categories × months

A table with categories in rows and months in columns, shaded from light to dark by amount. Subcategories open with ▸ or **Expand all**. **Total**, **Per month** and **Share** columns sum it up. The current, incomplete month is marked with an asterisk and left out of the average.

## Export to CSV

**CSV** downloads the report as a table with the same options — every row, including subcategories.
