# The overview

> Net worth, cash flow, spending by category and runway at a glance — and how to arrange the widgets.

The overview is the first screen after signing in. Every figure on it links to the entries it is made of.

## Widgets

- **Net worth** — everything you have in the base currency, with the change over the chosen period (month, 3 months, year, all time). Valued at the latest known rates.
- **Net worth over time** — a line of your net worth at the end of each month.
- **Accounts** — balances in your own account order.
- **Net worth by currency** — which currencies your money is in, and so which rates it depends on.
- **Spending by category** — last full month, the six largest categories plus Other, each compared with the average of the months before it.
- **Cash flow** — this month’s In, Out, Saved and savings rate, and bars for the last twelve months. Click a bar to open that month’s entries.
- **Runway** — how many months your net worth would last at your average spending of the last six full months. Accounts of type Property are left out.
- **Latest entries** — the most recent records.

Recurring and Budgets widgets are placeholders until those features ship.

## Arrange the overview

Click **Customize overview**:

- drag a widget, or move it with ◂ ▸;
- **−** and **+** change its width;
- hide widgets you don’t need; hidden ones are listed and can be shown again;
- **Reset** returns the default layout.

The layout is saved in your profile, so it is the same on every device you sign in from.
